The yearly Cherry Mobile Festival is often a season of leaks for the company’s exciting new offerings and this year is no different. We’ve already seen the Flare XL Plus, but the Cherry Mobile Flare XL 2 also wants in on a piece of the action. For Php5,999, you’re getting a large 6 inch HD screen and 1.3GHz octa-core processor. What’s even more interesting though is it should already run Marshmallow 6.0 out of the box, making it one of the first few locally-branded smartphones to run the newest version of Android.
The rest of the specs are pretty attractive too. You’re getting 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage to go along with a 16/8mp rear/front camera setup and 4G/LTE. Unfortunately, no release date has been announced yet, so we’ll just have to wait patiently for official announcements or perhaps another leak.
