MyPhone Iceberg Mini Teased with 1.5GHz Quad Core CPU and Nov 29 Release Date

Remember that earlier peek at MyPhone’s latest batch of phones courtesy of an image of off an Automatic Centre brochure? MyPhone has just started teasing one of them and it looks to be the MyPhone Iceberg Mini! In case you forgot, the Iceberg Mini was originally leaked to have a 5 inch Full HD IPS display, 1.5GHz quad core processor, and 2GB RAM. Well, the pioneering local phone brand just teased the processor, and it appears that the Iceberg Mini leaks got it right.

MyPhone Iceberg Mini Teased Feature CPU

According to the latest teased image, the MyPhone Iceberg Mini will be rocking a Turbo 1.5GHz quad core CPU under the hood. Therefore, we can expect it to be the MediaTek MT6589T, where the “T” stands for “Turbo”. Since the Iceberg Mini is expected to feature a 5″ Full HD IPS display, upgrading up to the 1.5GHz MT6589T compared to the original Iceberg’s 1.2GHz MT6589 makes sense since the Mini will actually feature a higher resolution screen.

While there’s nothing definite about the rest of the Other specs include a 13mp BSI rear-facing autofocus camera, 5mp BSI front camera, and Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean out of the box. The internal storage and battery capacity hasn’t been specified though, but MyPhone should tease these next few features in the coming days up to the November 29 release date.     1. That didn’t stop buyers of the original Iceberg. But it’s interesting that CM is having a sale on the Burst 2.0 on the same day 😉
