Cherry Mobile recently launched a trio of Intel-powered MAIA devices a few days ago. Of the three, the MAIA Tab and MAIA Smart Tab had already been revealed at a prior store launch and meet-and-greet event with the local brand’s new endorser, Janella Salvador. That left the Cherry Mobile MAIA Fone i4, which up until the event had been a mystery device. Well now, the mystery has been revealed.
The Cherry Mobile MAIA Fone i4 is a bit of a mouthful, but as a smartphone, it really isn’t all that intimidating. It features a 4 inch WVGA display, 64-bit Intel Atom X3 dual core processor, 512MB RAM and 4GB of storage. The specs are a bit of a throwback to a few years back when Cherry Mobile’s original Android smartphone darling, the Flare first made its appearance. These days, the MAIA Fone i4 is at the very least, a serviceable entry level smartphone for just Php1,999.
