If you’re looking for a good deal on an inexpensive tablet, Cloudfone has just silently released a Spotify Edition CloudPad that music lovers will likely appreciate. The newly revealed Cloudfone CloudPad 702q comes with the Spotify app pre-installed, obviously. However, it also comes with a sweet-looking flip cover as well as a pair of Spotify Headphones AND Earphones. Those are two different pieces of kit to let you listen to your music however you want to!
The tablet itself is quite modest. It packs a 7 inch IPS screen, 1GB RAM and 8GB of internal storage. The exact resolution hasn’t been mentioned, but at that price range, it should either be a WSVGA (600 x 1,024) or HD (720 x 1,280) resolution screen. Interestingly enough, it’s also a call and text tablet with mobile data connectivity so you can connect to the internet on the go without the need to be tethered to a WiFi hotspot!
Another interesting feature is what appears to be a large loudspeaker on the back. If you’d rather give your ears a rest from the bundled headphones or earphones, you can simply blast music from the loudspeaker instead.
At Php4,499, the Cloudfone CloudPad 702Q is certainly a compelling option. However, if you prefer your audio-centric devices to be a bit smaller, the Cloudfone Thrill 500x and Thrill 500x+ may be to your liking.
