Cherry Mobile Cosmos Two Keeps the Premium Build But Becomes Even More Affordable

Cherry Mobile Cosmos Two Featured

The Cosmos series is supposed to be Cherry Mobile’s premium lineup. But with their latest entry, they seem to be breaking barriers of just what you can get at entry-level price points. The newly announced Cherry Mobile Cosmos Two features a 5 inch HD IPS display, 64-bit 1.5GHz MT6732 quad core processor from MediaTek, not to mention LTE support for an impressively low price of just Php5,499. To give you an idea of just how impressive this smartphone is at its price point, the MT6732 chip scores around 30,000 in Antutu, which is about the same as MediaTek’s older MT6592 octa-core SoC.

Other specs include a 1GB RAM/8GB ROM storage configuration, a 14mp BSI autofocus camera on the back and a 5mp snapper in front, as well as Dual SIM and USB OTG support. Unfortunately, it only runs on Android 4.4 KitKat, which is already 2 updates behind. Also, some might be disappointed in the 2,100mAh battery, especially if you plan to take advantage of the Cosmos Two’s LTE Support. Still, at Php5,499 it’s hard to beat that value. Thinking of picking one up? No news on availability just yet, but I wouldn’t blame you if you waited for it.
