It wasn’t that long ago when fingerprint sensors were a premium feature on smartphones. Not anymore though and with the Cherry Mobile Flare J3, we’re getting one of the most affordable fingerprint sensor-enabled phones for just Php3,699. Naturally, the specs are pedestrian, but it’s nice to see a top-tier feature on a phone like the Flare J3.
The phone itself is pretty meh. You’re getting a 5 inch HD screen, 1.3GHz quad core CPU, 1GB RAM, and 8GB of internal storage. It does have Marshmallow 6.0, but the battery leaves something to be desired with a rating of just 1,900mAh battery. There’s also no 4G/LTE, but at this price point, I wouldn’t complain too much.
