Firefly Mobile isn’t the biggest mobile player in the local market, but it’s had some really solid releases over the past year. Their latest flagship, the Firefly Intense Desire features a 5.5 inch HD IPS screen, 64-bit 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6753 octa-core SoC, 3GB RAM and a whopping 32GB of internal storage. As if that wasn’t already good enough, the Intense Desire also manages to come with LTE out of the box. The price? A mere Php6,499!
The rest of the phone is pretty solid as well. Amateur photographers will be pleased by the 13mp rear camera and its Sony Exmor RS IMX214 sensor and dual LED flash. For above average selfies, the front camera is an 8mp shooter. Other specs include WiFi support across the a/b/g/n/ac bands, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and a 3,550mAh non-removable battery. The Firefly Intense Desire also supports dual micro SIMs and comes with Lollipop 5.1 out of the gate.
It’s certainly a compelling offering, and while the battery is non-removable, the high capacity and fast-charge capability help offset this downside. In case you’re still not convinced, Firefly Mobile is bundling a blue-light filtering tempered glass screen protector and clear silicon case to provide full protection for your Intense Desire.
