Kata i4 Coming Soon With Octa-Core Processor!

Kata i4

Kata likes to take it slow when it comes to releasing new phones, preferring instead to focus on a few notable devices rather than drowning the market in a sea of them. One thing that’s been lacking from their product portfolio though is an octa-core device, something that the newly teased Kata i4 should take care of. Kata Digital HK recently started hyping the upcoming smartphone and if the price is right, should be enticing to local smartphone buyers as well.

The Kata i4 packs some nice hardware compared to the budget-minded octa-core phones in the country. You’re getting a 5 inch HD IPS screen, 1.7GHz MediaTek MT6592 octa-core processor, 2GB RAM, and a whopping 32GB of storage. There’s also an impressive 16mp rear camera to go along with an 8mp front camera. Finally, the Kata i4 is powered by a 2,300mAh battery and runs Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box.

While it does leave a bit to be desired with the screen, every other spec of the Kata i4 has been topped out. Heck, I don’t even mind that it’s not a Full HD screen since I wouldn’t be able to tell the difference anyway. The only thing left of importance to reveal is the price. Kata has been surprising me with their pricing lately so hopefully, it won’t break the Php10k mark.
