More and more smartphones rocking the Helio P10 chipset are slowly coming out and if you’re looking to buy one from a more recognized brand, the recently announced Meizu M3 Note may catch your fancy. Meizu’s new phablet comes equipped with a 5.5 inch Full HD screen, the Helio P10 chip, and a surprisingly premium aluminum body considering its affordable price point. The M3 Note will come in two variants: 2GB/16GB and 3GB/32GB RAM and ROM.
Aside from the powerful new chip, the Meizu M3 Note will also sport a fingerprint scanner that’s integrated into the home button. Imaging will rely on a 13mp autofocus camera on the back and a 5mp shooter on the front. Naturally, the M3 Note will have a full suite of wireless connectivity options: 4G/LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS.
Pricing for the 2GB/16GB variant is 799 yuan, or roughly Php5.7k after straight conversion. If you prefer the 3GB/32GB version, that one is priced at 999 yuan, or Php7.1k. Thankfully, Meizu has a local distributor so it’s only a matter of time. Hopefully, they’ll be able to keep the price tag down to compete with our local phone brands.
