While MyPhone fans eagerly await the arrival of the Infinity and Ocean Elite, the pioneer local phone brand has recently announced two new phones aimed at the entry level segment: the MyPhone Ocean Lite and Ocean Mini. And guess what? Neither phone retails for more than Php3k!
The MyPhone Ocean Lite is a 4 incher powered by a 1GHz dual core processor that runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out of the box. It features a 3.2mp rear camera and also comes with a front camera for quick selfies and video calls.
On the other hand, the MyPhone Ocean Mini is a 3.5 incher driven by a 1GHz dual core processor with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out of the box. You only get a 1.3mp rear camera and no front camera.
Not much else is known about the specs though. I’m particularly curious about storage capacities and 2G/3G radios supported by both phones. Still, if you can’t wait, you can grab the Ocean Lite at Php2,999 and the Ocean Mini for just Php1,999.
