Well how about that. it appears that dual core phones aren’t just dropping below the Php3k mark, but lower than Php2.5k even. This particular aspect of the SKK Mobile Glimpse is certainly eye-catching, but what are you really getting for the money?
The SKK Mobile Glimpse features a 4 inch LCD display, 1.2GHz dual core processor, and Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean out of the box. It also sports dual cameras (2mp rear, VGA front) and dual SIM functionality, along with Bluetooth and WiFi.
Unfortunately, things like RAM and internal storage, although at that price, I would expect it to be something along the lines of 512MB RAM and 512MB internal storage. It also doesn’t say what data speeds the SKK Glimpse supports, but it’s likely just a 2G phone. I’ve reached out to my contacts at SKK to clarify some more key specs for you guys.
