Dual OS tablets are quickly becoming popular here in the Philippines, with the O+ USA Duo joining the mix. The Duo was silently outed on O+ USA’s website with a complete set of specs: 8″ IPS display, 1.5GHz quad core processor, 2GB RAM, and 64GB internal storage.Unfortunately, there isn’t any pricing yet, but hopefully it will retail for less than Php10k.
There are a few things I like about the O+ duo that give it an advantage over other dual OS convertibles in the Philippine market. First, it already runs both Windows 10 and Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box, while others only run Windows 8.1 and KitKat 4.4. Second, its 64GB of storage is at least twice that of other similar devices. Finally, it appears to come with a keyboard case that snaps right onto the tablet itself so there’s no need to shop for an extra keyboard accessory.
Update: Pricing has been revealed to be Php6,995. Not bad at all for a dual OS convertible with twice as much storage as most of the competition!
