In case you missed it, Cherry Mobile has been teasing another new handset on their Facebook page. And it’s not the newly announced LTE-capable Ultra either. No, the upcoming phone is called the Cherry Mobile Axis, and while nothing aside from the name has been officially revealed, some live product shots and specs have been revealed online ahead of any official announcement courtesy of famed tipster, Cherry Angel. But first, let’s take a look at the specs 🙂

The Cherry Mobile Axis features a 4.5 inch qHD IPS display and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad core processor. It also comes equipped with 1GB RAM and 4GB ROM along with an 8mp rear camera and VGA front camera setup to handle imaging responsibilities. While it doesn’t run KitKat 4.4 out of the box, it does have NFC, which not too many local or even foreign-branded phones are equipped with yet these days.
All in all, the Axis is shaping up to be a pretty decent handset. Cherry Angel revealed that the Cherry Mobile Axis price will be at Php4,499, which isn’t bad at all. Since Cherry Angel has already received stocks and shared his photos with us, we can expect that it won’t be long until it’s officially in stores nationwide.
