It’s been a while since the Cherry Mobile Cosmos Z2 hit the market and now it seems it’s going to be joined by another octa core phone. Like the Cosmos Z2, the Cherry Mobile Omega Infinity is equipped with a MediaTek 1.7GHz octa core MT6592 SoC and 2GB RAM. However, it also comes with a larger 5.5 inch Full HD IPS display and 32GB ROM, giving the Omega Infinity the edge over the Cosmos Z2 in terms of screen size and storage.
Aside from the screen and internal storage, the two phones are pretty much the same specs-wise. The Omega Infinity comes with an 18mp autofocus camera with flash and an 8mp front camera, You also get up to HSPA+ download speeds, WiFi b/g/n, Bluetooth and GPS. It does however come with a much larger 2,900mAh battery.
Thinking of getting the Cherry Mobile Omega Infinity? It’s priced at Php14,999 and comes with a free Pyxis Bluetooth speaker priced at Php1,399. No news yet on when it will officially be released though.
