Chuwi DX1 is World’s First Tablet with Rotating Camera!

Chuwi DX1

Rotating cameras on smartphones are a fairly novel feature, but on tablets? That’s exactly what Chinese manufacturer Chuwi did with the DX1. The Chuwi DX1 is a fairly decent although unremarkable tablet if you ignore the innovative camera. You’re getting a 6.98 inch HD display, 2GHz MediaTek MT8392 octa-core processor, 1GB RAM and 16GB of storage.

Of course, with the rotating camera, the Chuwi DX1 suddenly becomes a conversation starter. After all, a tablet draws much more attention than a smartphone, and when you start rotating the camera, you’ll be able to get some interesting angles for your shots.

Unfortunately, it’s unlikely that we’ll see the Chuwi DX1 in the local market since they don’t have a presence here, save for a few Divisoria importers, I suppose. If you want to get your hands on one, you’ll have to order through an international online store for 799 Yuan or about Php5.8k plus taxes.
