Voyo V2: A Windows TV Box with Built-in Power Bank!

Voyo V2 TV Box

I’ve been fortunate to try out at least a couple of Android TV boxes a couple of years ago, however, the hardware had been decidedly lacking and the experience was less than stellar. I’m a bit sour on them these days, but the Voyo V2 has piqued my interest. Why? It happens to run Windows instead of Android and even manages to come with a built-in power bank!

The Voyo V2 is powered by an Intel Z3735 Bay-Trail processor and comes with 2GB RAM and a sweet 64GB of internal storage. The built-in battery has a capacity of 5,000mAh and lets the Voyo V2 act as a power bank if you need some emergency juice for your other devices.

One hitch though. Some sites are advertising it as a Windows 10 TV box, which isn’t completely accurate. At the moment, it comes with Windows 8.1 but can be upgraded to Windows 10 for free, just like any PC running genuine Windows. Still, a Windows 10-capable TV box is certainly interesting. Unfortunately, it’s not available locally, but it’s something I hope our local brands would think of bringing here.
