Aside from making smartphones, Xiaomi is pretty popular for their power banks too, and their newest one will likely become their most in-demand model yet. After all, who wouldn’t want all that extra juice from their Xiaomi 20,000mAh power bank for all their gadgets? The best part? It’s priced at 149 yuan, or roughly Php1.1k!
Although its capacity is obviously quite large, the Mi 20,000mAh power bank manages to keep the weight down thanks to its plastic body. It has dual USB ports so you can charge two devices at a time, and it supports Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 2.0 technology so it can charge compatible devices faster than your typical power bank. There’s an LED power indicator as well, so you can keep track of the power levels, and should the power pack run out of juice, it should take just 5 hours of recharge time to bring it back to full.
Unfortunately, it’s only available in China at the moment. Considering Xiaomi Philippines’ track record with bringing newly launched devices to the Philippine market, it should be more than a few months before we can expect it to hit Lazada or their local brick-and-mortar stores. Still, there are quite a few importers out there who will surely try to bring it in early for a profit.
