Xiaomi has expanded their product lines beyond just smartphones and tablets a couple of times before. So it shouldn’t come as a surprise that the Chinese smartphone brand would come out with something new once again, this time in the form of the Xiaomi Wowstick 1fs Electric Screwdriver ! As weird as it might be, there are a lot of gadget owners out there who like to tinker around or at least make small repairs themselves. So in a way, the Xiaomi Wowstick 1fs makes sense for quite a few people out there.
The Wowstick isn’t just any motorized screwdriver either. It has 2 modes: manual and automatic, and is capable of torquing fasteners up to 3Nm It comes in a sleek aluminum body and supports interchangeable heads. It has a selection of 6 bits to cover most situations, but you can order an additional set of 18 so you’re never without the right head (lol).
It’s currently still in pre-order via their website for just 199 yuan (Php1.4k). Unfortunately, we’re not likely to see this or any other new Xiaomi product through official channels here in the Philippines. Of course, we can always rely on our gray market sellers to bring this in for us.
