HTC One M8 Surfaces Online with Protective Case Ahead of March 25 Launch

HTC One+ Invite

The successor to the critically-acclaimed HTC One, codenamed M8, is soon to be official folks. HTC has started sending out invites for March 25th for what could end up being the HTC One 2, HTC Two or HTC One+. Whatever the heck HTC plans to call it, we should all know what it will look like, the specs it will be rocking, and hopefully how much damage it will cause our wallets.

Of course, HTC hasn’t officially confirmed that they will indeed be launching the HTC One successor on that date. However, everything is pointing to the 25th of March being the official launch since this is about the time that HTC usually launches their flagship device. In the meantime, rumors and leaks continue to circulate about the HTC One successor, the M8, and will probably continue to do so until the device officially launches.

One such leak comes courtesy of @evleaks, the Twitter-based tipster. The notorious Twitter account posted an image of what we assume to be the HTC One+ or One 2 or whatever, encased in a protective case. The manufacturer of the case wasn’t revealed, although it could be an official accessory, much like the Double Dip Case is for the HTC One.

It’s going to be a long wait until March 25. Hopefully, the rollout for the device won’t take too long. The release of the original HTC One had been hampered by delays that impacted its popularity in the market. This is something HTC hopes to avoid with the upcoming HTC One successor.
