Some of you may recall the Ascend P6, which held the title as the world’s thinnest phone for a short while. Well, its successor, the Huawei Ascend P7 has been getting a bit of attention in the past few days courtesy of a few leaks. The first leak is the official render where we actually get to see what the UI looks like, along with the color variants we can expect the Ascend P7 to come in.

The second leak is of the phone itself. They aren’t the best shots, but we get to see what the device looks like in real life. The Ascend P7 appears to make use of capacitive navigation buttons below the screen rather than onscreen buttons. We’re also getting a sneak peek at what appears to be an official flip cover accessory.

The Chinese manufacturer is expected to release the Huawei Ascend P7 at the MWC later this month, and while it won’t be the world’s thinnest phone, it will still be quite thin at 6.3mm. It is also expected to feature a 5 to 5.5 inch Full HD screen, in-house 1.6GHz quad core processor, 13mp rear camera and 5mp front camera.
