We’re just a day from the likely unveiling of Nokia and the Windows Phone platform’s first phablet, the Lumia 1520, and it seems that the Finnish phone maker was unable to keep the details under wraps as @evleaks has apparently leaked its key specifications on Twitter. If the leak is to be believed, the Nokia Lumia 1520 will feature a 6 inch Full HD screen, Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB RAM, and a choice between 16GB or 32GB storage options. It is also expected to sport a 20mp PureView camera and will support Qi wireless charging.
The Windows Phone platform has been slowly growing its market share over the last year, but while many of the phones have been solid, there hasn’t been a single phone that has taken advantage of the phablet craze. The only ones that come close are the HTC Titan and Titan II, which both sported 4.7 inch screens. Nokia and the other remaining Windows Phone OEMs are a little late to the phablet party, but the Lumia 1520 is still hoping to make a splash.
