There’s no doubt that the Samsung Galaxy Note line of devices has been very successful for the South Korean company, so much so that they plan to expand the line even further. According to rumors, Samsung has been hard at work on a gargantuan 12 inch tablet, and the latest news has it pegged as being the Galaxy Note Pro 12.2, one of 4 tablets due out in January 2014.

As the name suggests, the Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 will feature a 12.2 inch screen and will have a separate digitizer for S-Pen functionality. The supersized tablet will bear the SM-P900 codename with features and specs similar to the Galaxy Note 10.1 2014. There are rumors that it might be one of the larger devices that Samsung is working on to have an AMOLED display, but it’s highly unlikely due to the Note Pro 12.2’s sheer size.
If you’re the creative professional type who could use that kind of screen real estate and S-Pen functionality, the Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 could be for you. Don’t expect it to be affordable though.
