Brother is an established brand when it comes to printers and MFCs (Multi-Function Centers), and their latest models give you a choice between super high yield printing ideal for students, and models with refillable ink tanks for the ultimate in yield and practicality.
Super High Yield (SHY): Students
Brother’s entry level multi-function centers combine the functionality of a printer, scanner, copier and fax into a single machine. What’s more is that they’re capable of a super high yield of up to 2,400 pages based on standard ISO print speed on A4-sized paper. The range includes the DCP-J100, the DCP-J105 and the MFC-J200 InkBenefit series models with prices starting at less than Php5k.
Refill Tank System Series: The Most Practical Choice
Wrapping up Brother’s new lineup is the Refill Tank System Series. While refillable tanks are nothing new, they were mostly popularized by third-party services that modified your printer and voided your warranty. With the new Refill Tank System Series, the refillable tanks are built-in, and you can simply swap out low-cost ink bottles with 6,000 page-yield (A4) for black ink, and 5,000 page-yield for each of the three color ink bottles for only P390. Refill Tank System MFCs will initially include the DCP-T300, DCP-T500, DCP-T500W (with wireless networking capability) as well as the DCP-T700 and MFC-T800 models.
