I fortunate enough to have been invited to Lenovo’s recent local launch of their first ever LTE capable smartphone, the Lenovo Vibe Z. While it puzzles me that the company took its sweet time to come out with an LTE smartphone, I’m certainly impressed by the phone itself. The Vibe Z features all of the same flagship class specs as its competitors while retailing for significantly less at Php24,995.
So what are you getting with the Lenovo Vibe Z? You get a 5.5″ Full HD IPS display protected by Gorilla Glass 3, 2.2GHz Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB of internal storage, and the aforementioned LTE support. It features a 13mp BSI rear-facing camera with dual flash and a wide angle 5mp front camera to fit more people in your group selfies. The Lenovo Vibe Z runs Android Jelly Bean 4.3 out of the box with the New Lenovo Launcher on top.
In addition to the hardware features, the Lenovo Vibe Z also features a functional Do It software suite, which has been designed with simplifying people’s digital lives in mind.

These apps come preloaded on the Vibe Z and select new Lenovo smartphones and tablets. SHAREit, SECUREit and SYNCit can also be downloaded via Google’s Play Store for free, even if you don’t have a Lenovo-branded smartphone.
