A few days ago, Cherry Mobile teased a couple of upcoming tablets from their Superion line. Well, Cherry Mobile has just revealed some key information about these upcoming models and one of them is a budget-minded 7-inch tablet by the name of the Cherry Mobile Superion Discover. Being from the Superion line, the Discover supports 3G data, meaning you can surf the internet without a WiFi connection.
It sports a 7 inch screen, 1GHz dual core processor, 512MB RAM and 4GB of internal storage. Other specs include dual cameras (2mp rear, VGA front), WiFi, Bluetooth and a 3,000mAh battery It also happens to run Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out of the box. The specs aren’t anything special, but at that price no one’s complaining. You’re getting a proper Android tablet with phone functions and 3G support after all.
The only question that needs to be answered is the resolution. I’m hoping it will be better than WVGA, which is typical at this price point, but I doubt it. So is the Cherry Mobile Superion Discover something you’d grab even if it has a WVGA screen? Let us know in the comments below.
