Torque doesn’t make as many waves as some of the other local brands but that doesn’t mean folks aren’t eating up their tablets. In fact, it’s just the opposite as it seems they’ve made their mark on the masses with their super affordable slates. One of their latest from a new batch of tablets is the Torque Ego Tab S, an entry level 7 inch tablet designed for folks on a budget.
The Ego Tab S sports a WSVGA screen, 1GHz processor, 512MB RAM, and 8GB of internal storage. It also comes with a 3mp front and back cameras, WiFi, Bluetooth, not to mention KitKat 4.4 out of the box. Unfortunately, there’s no SIM slot, so you can’t use it as a phone or connect to the internet via mobile data, but it does support USB broadband sticks. Admittedly, it’s rather basic, but at Php1,699 SRP, who’s complaining?
