There’s a lot of excitement going on right now over the upcoming Cherry Mobile Flare S2. It sports a Sony IMX 179 camera module, which is the same one on the Nexus 5, and manages to retail for just Php4,699! Cherry Mobile had teased the Flare S2 a few days ago, but now we’ve got some live shots of the phone itself courtesy of Cherry Angel, famed leakster for all things Cherry Mobile 🙂

It may just be an entry level phone, but the Flare S2’s silver backing is certainly attractive. Also, the specs should still allow you to play most games on the Play Store. So what do you guys say? Think the Cherry Mobile Flare S2 is an awesome buy?
