Cherry Mobile Partners with Thailand’s Leading Mobile Accessories Brand, D-Power

Smartphones are an essential part of our lives these days. Unfortunately, they’re not always blessed with great battery life and it’s never fun to run out of juice before you’ve gotten home. Thankfully, there are mobile accessories like power banks and chargers, but they can either be budget-friendly and basic, or expensive and full-featured. Why can’t we have both though? It’s for this reason that Cherry Mobile probably partnered with one of Thailand’s leading mobile accessory brands, D-Power. D-Power has a wide range of chargers, power banks, and even Bluetooth speakers that should appeal to the PH mass market. What makes them different though from any other brand though?

For one thing, their goal is to bring the best features to every price point in their product lineups while minimizing their profits. What does that mean? It means super affordable accessories that do way more than the competition. And it’s the little things that count. Take the D-Power IP988 Multiport USB Charger. Sure, there are a lot of multi-chargers out there for the same price, but this one comes with a quick charging port AND a phone stand so you can conveniently check out notifications as they flash on your smartphone’s screen.

Then there’s D-Power’s range of power banks, some of my favorites, I’ve recently reviewed. Take the ultra thin and light 10,000mAh S8+. Most high capacity power banks are heavy and bulky, whereas the S8+ is only a little thicker than today’s smartphones. It even comes with wireless charging AND a built-in 2-in-1 cable for both Android and iOS devices. To top it all off, it supports PD 3.0 and QC 3.0 quick charging standards, for maximum compatibility with devices that support it.

D-Power has a range of different product lineups geared towards mobile phone owners, although in case you didn’t get it from their name, they’re more oriented towards power banks and chargers. Of course, that isn’t stopping them from releasing a lineup of Bluetooth boomboxes as well. Look forward to seeing them open their own outlets at SM North EDSA and Robinsons Galleria. They can also be found at Cherry Mobile stores and kiosks nationwide.

About The Author

Back when I started MobileTechPinoy in 2012, phablets weren't a thing yet. I enjoyed the stares I got from iPhone owners whenever I whipped out my Samsung Galaxy Note at the time. I'm much more budget-conscious these days though and am perfectly fine with using phones from any of our locally brands.
