A Lite variant of the Galaxy Note 3 is in the works

If you’re looking for Galaxy Note 3 features but can’t afford the Galaxy Note 3 price, Samsung has a lower cost alternative in the works. Eager to milk the name of the Note lineup of phablets, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Lite will offer performance somewhere between the Galaxy Grand 2 and Galaxy Note 3.

Up until now, there hasn’t been a lot in the way of information about specs. However, SamMobile reports that a user agent string reveals that the SM-N750 non-LTE variant of the Galaxy Note 3 Lite will feature 720p display and Android 4.3 Jelly Bean out of the box. The display is a noticeable downgrade from the Note 3’s 1080p display, but it should still be sharp enough for most people. Also, a KitKat 4.4 upgrade shouldn’t take long to reach the device after it launches.
