SKK Mobile has just dropped a bomb on their Facebook page, revealing what could be the most affordable octa-core phone yet! The SKK Mobile Phoenix X1 as it is named features a 5 inch HD display and octa-core CPU for just Php5,499! That’s even more affordable than the Cherry Mobile Pulse, which only recently held the title of the most affordable octa-core smartphone in the country!
The SKK Phoenix X1 sports a 5 inch HD IPS display with a pixel density of 294ppi. It’s not the best screen you can get from a local brand as there are octa-core phones with Full HD screens. However, I wouldn’t take this against SKK Mobile because that price is a killer.
The Phoenix X1 is fairly slim at 8.4mm. You get the standard micro USB port and 3.5mm headset jack. It’s worth noting that the phone supports USB OTG and CTIA-compliant headsets.
Imaging responsibilities are covered by a 13mp rear-facing autofocus camera with LED flash and a 5mp front camera.
