Starmobile Up Snap Comes With Its Own Version of an UltraPixel Camera!

Starmobile Up Snap

It’s no secret that Filipinos are crazy about taking pictures with their phones. Heck, we’re home to the selfie capital of the world for crying out loud! So when a local phone brand announces what should be an budget-friendly camera-centric smartphone in the form of the Starmobile Up Snap, people are going to take notice.

The Starmobile Up Snap isn’t a world-beater by any means, specs-wise. In fact, with its 5 inch FWVGA IPS display, 1.2GHz Broadcom quad core processor, 1GB RAM and 8GB of internal storage, it’s actually a pretty entry level offering. It does have a surprisingly massive 2,900mAh battery though.

However, the real star feature of the Starmobile Up Snap is its UltraPixel camera. While I doubt it’s the same as HTC’s own UltraPixel camera that we’ve seen on their most recent flagship phones, Starmobile has been touting it’s larger pixel size. They haven’t actually specified the size of the pixels on the Starmobile Up Snap’s camera sensor though, but if they make good on their promise of delivering a great camera phone that excels in low-light, they might have a hit on their hands.
