Starmobile Up+ Gets an Upgrade to 8GB of Storage

Starmobile Up+

If you’re like me and think that 8GB should be the new norm when it comes to entry level smartphones, Starmobile has got a new treat for you. The Starmobile Up that originally came with 4GB of internal storage got upgraded to 8GB and now goes by the name Starmobile Up+. It also now sports a slightly higher price tag at Php5,490.

The rest of the specs remain unchanged. It’s the same 5 inch FWVGA IPS display, 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6582M processor, and 1GB RAM packed inside the same body. You also get an 8mp BSI rear camera with LED flash and 2mp BSI front camera, not to mention KitKat 4.4 out of the box.

So is the upgrade worth it? Should they have kept the price tag as before or is the price bump justified? Let me know in the comments below 🙂
