Xiaomi continues to expand on its budge Redmi range with the most recent phablet being the Redmi Note 3 Pro. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro starts at just 999 yuan (roughly Php7.2k) for the 16GB model, but manages to come with a 5.5 inch Full HD IPS screen and a hexa-core Snapdragon 650 SoC. It also features a fingerprint scanner, similar to the earlier released Redmi Note 3, not to mention a full metal body.
Other specs include 4G/LTE, 16mp/5mp cameras, and a 4,050mAh battery. Similar to past offerings, Xiaomi is offering the Redmi Note 3 Pro in different configurations. The 2GB RAM/16GB ROM configuration is the one that will retail for 999 yuan internationally. However, there’s no price tag yet on the 3GB RAM/32GB ROM version. Both phones are expected to hit India first and begin Xiaomi’s typically slow rollout.
