Veems: A Photo Sharing and Private Messaging App that Sends “Talking” Photos and Stickers

There are a lot of free apps to choose from when it comes to private messaging. Most of these apps still require you to type out your message while others also allows you to send a voice message.

Of course, there’s nothing wrong with typing out what you want to say. It’s usually the more convenient option, especially when you’re in a hurry or commuting. Now, Veems provide users an alternative to send private messages via stickers with sound. The stickers are not only cute, but they serve a specific function in everyday conversation.

For example, you can simply send a “Call Me” sticker if you need to communicate something that must be done over the phone. On the other hand, if there’s no sticker that fits the conversation, you can snap your own photo and add your own voice. Want to tell someone that you’re going to be late? Just send them a photo of the traffic jam and say, “I’m sorry I might be late.”

Sending private “veems”: The main unique feature of Veems is that it allows users to snap a photo and record a four-second sound—it could be the ambient noise or a user’s own voice. The team behind Veems dubbed this image and sound combination a “veem”. It’s not a video, an image, or an audio; it’s a veem!

Sharing public veems: If you don’t feel like talking to your friends but still want to share something, you can share your photo with sound to the other users. Easily switch from private messaging to public with one touch. When you share your content, you can categorize it under funny, selfie, or love among others. Other users can easily find content that they like under these categories. As a bonus for users who upload great content, their “veem” is chosen as Editor’s Choice by Veems’ Community Manager, Emily Levy.

If you’re looking to try it out, you can install Veems for free from either Android or iOS  and you can get access to even more features through in-app purchases.
