Cherry Mobile Superion Vector is a Budget Tablet with a Whopping 16GB of Storage!

Cherry Mobile Superion Vector

Cherry Mobile has been an absolute master at hyping there Android smartphones and tablets in the last few years. However, every now and then something that’s actually worth the hype seems to fly under the radar. One such tablet that didn’t get a lot of hype was the Cherry Mobile Superion Vector.

Maybe it’s because the Superion Vector was lumped in among a bunch of other product announcements from Cherry Mobile. Admittedly, those things can get tiring after a while. But I was surprised to be honest because the Superion Vector is an absolute steal for its price!

The Cherry Mobile Superion Vector features a WSVGA IPS display, quad core processor, and 1GB RAM. Being a Superion tablet, it also comes with call and text capabilities, not to mention support for HSPA+ mobile data connectivity. However, what really wowed me was its whopping 16GB of internal storage. And this is for a tablet that now only sells for Php4,999 the last time I checked!

        1. Hi po maganda po ba ang camera ng superion vector at malakas po ba ang plas nya atska avelable paba xa plz replay kasi bibili po ako.tnx

    1. Hi, it’s what I’m using right now. I have to zoom in every now and then when reading manga because the WSVGA resolution isn’t sharp enough for the smaller text, but the 16gb storage is a killer selling point and lets me download hundreds of chapters at a time without adding an SD card.

      1. how about its battery life since it has 7-inch display and wsvga resolution and 2500mAh battery capacity? would it last at least 10 hours?

        1. As a regular tablet, it could probably reach 10 hours with light to moderate usage. It’s a different thing if you’re going to use it as both a tablet and phone. I doubt the battery would last that long.

  1. hello is the camera front and back are clear? is the tablet useful as a student? because im going to buy maybe next week because i was motivated to your review instead to buy alpha luxe. so you please reply so i can decide asap which is the best useful as a student?

    1. Hi Kattie,

As a student, I’d probably go for the Cherry Mobile Alpha Play. It’s a tablet that runs full Windows, not Android, so you can actually use it for real productivity. It even comes with a free Bluetooth keyboard and Microsoft Office. It only comes with 16GB storage, which isn’t much on a Windows device. After the OS and updates, you’ll only be left with about 4GB of usable storage left. You can get a micro SD card for files, but you can’t install apps on that card. The Alpha Play is only selling for Php5,999 these days. Here’s a link to my hands on with the Alpha Play.

Still, if you’re really keen on an Android tablet instead, yeah the Vector is pretty awesome. You can still install an app like WPS Office, which lets you open and edit Microsoft Office documents as well as view PDFs. Just get a separate Bluetooth keyboard if you really want to get productive.

      Hope this helps 🙂
