The HTC One is easily one of the most premium Android handsets out there, garnering a lot of praise in the tech industry for features like the UltraPixel Camera, Blinkfeed and Boomsound speakers and bringing it all together in a gorgeous aluminum unibody. But don’t take my word for it, because the HTC One has also managed to bag the Computex Taipei Gold Medal Award for Design and Innovation just to prove it. Not bad when you consider that a total of 254 products were submitted for entry.
According to the jury of experts, it was the HTC One’s extremely sophisticated detailing that made it stand out among all the other entries. Make no mistake, there was a myriad of strong smartphone contenders in this product category. The HTC One even managed to bag a few more awards along the way to this one, including Global System for Mobile Communications Association award for Best New Mobile Device or Tablet, ,Tech Radar’s “MWC’s Best Phone” and “Best in Show”, and Mobile Geeks’ “Best Smartphone.”
