HTC One Max Press Image Gets Leaked | Update: Will be Released in Q4!

The HTC One is one of the best flagship phones in the market as of the moment. Yet curiously, with its 4.7 inch Super LCD 3 display, it’s one of the smaller ones in terms of size. Almost ever other flagship from its competitors comes with a 5 inch screen or larger. Well, if you’re likely me and wanted to see something like the HTC One with a larger screen, the HTC One Max might just fit your fancy. Curious as to what it might look like? Check out the image below.

HTC One Max Press Image Leak

As you can see from this leaked press image courtesy of @evleaks, the HTC One Max looks just like the original HTC One, except of course that it’s bigger. According to rumors, this upcoming monster phone will sport a 5.9 inch Full HD display, a 2.3GHz Snapdragon 800 chip, Adreno 330 graphics and 2GB of RAM. Like the HTC One, the One Max will also sport a 4mp UltraPixel camera with OIS, 16GB of internal storage, a micro SD slot and a 3,300mAh battery. Despite the large footprint and awesome specs under the hood, the HTC One Max is expected to come out with a thickness of just 9.4mm.

There’s no official news yet as to when the HTC One Max will be officially revealed, although it’s expected to launch pretty soon, possibly at this year’s IFA.

Update [8/13/2013 @ 1:57pm]

Based on a statement made by Ben Ho, Chief Marketing Officer for HTC, we can expect the Taiwanese phone maker to launch the HTC One Max in the Q4 of this year. According to Ho, we can expect to see two or three mid-range Desire devices launched in the remainder of Q3, and an HTC One variant in Q4. Since the HTC One Max is the only remaining HTC One variant on everyone’s radar, we can expect this to mean that the One Max will see a release sometime between October to December.
