Battery life has typically been a weak point among smartphones. Sure, there are a few exceptions every now and then, but those options tend to be pricier. Well, the previously leaked Cherry Mobile Fuze S is finally official, delivering an octa-core smartphone with a 4,000mAh battery for just Php4,499!
The Cherry Mobile Fuze S is a mix of power, compromise, and some really useful features. The screen isn’t much — just a 5 inch FWVGA resolution display. However, it is powered by a 1.4GHz MT6592m octa-core processor with a Mali 450 GPU. Some budget-minded gadget enthusiasts will be disappointed that it only has 1GB RAM and 8GB of internal storage. Still, at that price, it’s really hard to complain.
The real selling point of the Cherry Mobile Fuze S is its massive 4,000mAh battery. Cherry Mobile estimates that it can last up to 500 hours on standby, and in real life usage, it’s likely good for anywhere from 2 to 4 days without charging.
Aside from that though, the Fuze S also supports USB OTG, which allows you to connect things like flash drives, keyboards, mice and such. It’s a bang-for-buck feature, especially for students and professionals to whom this kind of functionality can come in handy. USB OTG basically allows your smartphone become a laptop replacement of sorts, and you’ll be happy to know it comes with a USB OTG cable out of the box.
Camera performance is also decent. Although it isn’t a touted feature, the 8mp rear camera captures a fair amount of detail. It also focuses well on closer subjects, making it good for macro photography as well.

5449 ang totoong presyo eh
SRP na po ang Php4,499 sa FB page ng CM
bkit di nila i fuze ung magagandang specs ng mga phone nila sa iisang phone lng tapos gawin nilng mura, for sure khit samsung kaya nilang talunin sa market
that depends on their supplier(Probably from china) hindi control ng CM ang mga hardware kac hindi naman sila ang gumagawa. REBRANDED lng mga phones nila.
Unfortunately, that is their marketing strategy, na hindi inilalagay sa iisang phone lahat ng magagandang specs.
yea your right about that … baka kasi di na sila maka benta ng bagong unit
LOL octa-core but with low resolution and a VGA front cam? .. hhhmm almost all applications including games need high resolution nowadays .
Hindi IPS ang screen? Please confirm. Wala kasi ako nabasa sa itaas.
