Kata i3 Teased With 5 Inch HD Screen and Whopping 16GB Storage

One thing I hate about most locally-branded smartphones is they stick to a paltry 4GB of internal storage. Once you take away what the OS uses and the separate partition for apps, you’re only left with 2GB of storage or less. That’s why the upcoming Kata i3 is so refreshing as it comes with a whopping 16GB internal storage.

Yeah, there are a few other flagship phones from local brands with 16GB storage. However, there aren’t that many, and if Kata Digital wants to offer budget-minded Pinoy consumers one more smartphone option with that much storage, then I’m all for it.

Of course, it’s not just about storage as the Kata i3 has so much more to offer. It also features a 5″ HD IPS screen, 1.3GHz quad core processor, and 1GB RAM. It also sports a 13mp rear-facing autofocus camera, 5mp front camera, a complete set of wireless connectivity options, a 2,250mAh battery, and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out of the box. Those are last year’s specs, so hopefully the Kata i3 won’t be too expensive when it eventually does come out.
