MyPhone fans have a lot to be excited about right now. An image of what could be their next Android flagship phone has been leaked on one of the unofficial MyPhone fan pages and is creating a bit of a stir. The new MyPhone Android flagship, if that’s what it is, features a premium metallic finish that you rarely see on internationally branded smartphones, let alone the locally branded competition. Take a look at the image below.
Update 7/19/2013: It’s official! Check out the MyPhone Agua Iceberg here!
The new MyPhone Android flagship featured in the leaked image doesn’t yet sport a map of the Philippines on the back that is typical of phones from the pioneering local brand, so it’s likely that this is still a development unit. The MyPhone logo is present though, although it’s not that easily readable in this leak. Still, there’s a strong chance that this will hit the market because the admins of the page are known to have contacts from MyPhone themselves.
No definitive specs have been leaked yet, however it has been said that this will be powered by a quad core processor and will run Jelly Bean 4.2 out of the box. The screen is likely to be at least 5 inches, but nothing specific beyond that. Any guesses on what that special feature of this new MyPhone Android phone might be? Share your thoughts in the comments 🙂
Update 23:06@7/12/2013: According to a credible source, this new phone will sport a 5.7 inch screen.
