The Cherry Mobile Selfie Two is one of the most affordable selfie-centric smartphones out there and I was lucky enough to have been provided a unit for review. The full verdict will be out soon, but here’s a look at some benchmarks when I first started testing the phone.
Performance Benchmarks
Antutu is one of the most popular benchmarks and the Selfie Two’s MT6737 quad core processor scored reasonably well for a phone that retails for only Php4,999.
It’s no world beater, and it hardly fares better than phones that were released a a couple of years ago, but then again, it does bring a lot to the table for its price: a 1.3GHz quad core processor, 2GB RAM, and 16GB of storage.
Graphics Benchmarks
Of course, you might still play the occasional game even if you might originally get the Selfie Two for its camera prowess.
Again, the Selfie Two doesn’t exactly compare well with the best of them, but it does provide decent gaming performance.
Just stick to casual games and you won’t be disappointed.
Impressions
While the Cherry Mobile Selfie Two is meant to be a budget selfie phone whose appeal would lie more in its camera prowess than its overall performance, there’s enough under the hood that it doesn’t leave you wanting.
