Lenovo Vibe Z Announced Ahead of CES 2014, is Company’s First LTE Smartphone

Lenovo Vibe Z

It was just recently that Lenovo launched their flagship Vibe X here in the Philippines, but now it looks like smartphone enthusiasts will have something more to drool over pretty soon. Lenovo has just announced the Lenovo Vibe Z, another flagship-class phone, one that offers LTE connectivity. In case you weren’t aware, this is the first time Lenovo has released a phone with LTE.

The Lenovo Vibe Z will feature a 5.5 inch Full HD display (1080 x 1920) with a pixel density of 401ppi. This is larger than the Vibe X’s screen, which is a half inch smaller at 5 inches. Other top-of-the-line specs include a 2.2GHz quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, and Android 4.3 Jelly Bean out of the box. It will also sport a 13mp shooter with f/1.8 aperture lens at the back and 5mp camera with 84 degree viewing angle in front.

The Lenovo Vibe Z is priced at $549 and will go on sale in select Asian countries, including the Philippines. No word on how much it will actually cost, but we’ll find out when it reaches here in February. My guesstimate is about Php23k. What’s yours?
