Samsung Faux Leather 6,000mAh Power Bank

Ever since Samsung debuted the fake leather finish on the Galaxy Note 3, they’ve been using the same finish across a number of new devices that have since rolled out. While it’s already been used on devices like smartphones and notebooks, I never would have expected them to use such a relatively premium design characteristic on a power bank, but that’s exactly what they did with their latest 6,000mAh power bank.

Yes, they now offer a frigging 6,000mAh power bank styled in fake faux leather for $60. That’s about Php2,600 after straight conversion. It’s a fairly decent price for a functional power bank from an established international brand. However, the faux leather finish is a little bit of overkill if you ask me.

Still, if you’re a Samsung fan with a number of these faux leather devices, then this power bank might be to your liking. It’s only available in India at the moment though, so there’s a bit of a wait if you want to grab it for yourself.

Back when I started MobileTechPinoy in 2012, phablets weren't a thing yet. I enjoyed the stares I got from iPhone owners whenever I whipped out my Samsung Galaxy Note at the time. I'm much more budget-conscious these days though and am perfectly fine with using phones from any of our locally brands.
