Huawei P8 GRA

The Huawei P8 is arguably one of the more gorgeous flagship smartphones you can get from anywhere. Its global version, the Huawei P8 GRA has yet to officially go on sale, but you can already see a number of online stores offering it on pre-sale, with some even offering it at a discounted pre-sale price! And why shouldn’t you get it at a discount if you can afford it?

Kirin 935

The Huawei P8 GRA features a 5.2 inch Full HD display with a pixel density of 434ppi. This will allow you to enjoy a wide variety of content on its ample screen real estate in full detail. It uses Huawei’s in-house 2GHz Kirin 930 octa-core processor that easily scores in the mid 40,000s in Antutu, which is where you’ll find most of today’s flagship smartphones. It also comes with ample 3GB RAM for effortless multitasking. Although the internal storage is a bit limited for a flagship at just 16GB, you can expand it via microSD and use up to 128GB cards.

Although the specs can compare well with most of its competitors, where the Huawei P8 GRA really shines is in the imaging department. This shouldn’t be news to Huawei fans since most of their higher end phones do place an emphasis on enhanced imaging capabilities. It comes with a 13mp autofocus camera with LED flash. Surprisingly, it comes with optical image stabilization that compensates for any vibration, resulting in clear shots even when your hands are a bit shaky. There are even some neat modes such as Time Lapse, Perfect Selfie, and Director Mode, which lets you combine videos from several different angles into a single professional grade masterpiece.

Director Mode

The Huawei P8 GRA is expected to officially go on sale in mid-October with an asking price of $449.99. However, a few online stores are already offering it on discounted pre-sale. Gearbest, for example, will let you get it for just $432.89 if you use the code: P8GRA.

I'm much more budget-conscious these days though and am perfectly fine with using phones from any of our locally brands.
