The ASUS Transformer Pad TF701 was quietly announced for the Philippine market today in a press release that was sent out to the media. It’s one of the more premium Android tablets to hit the market recently, featuring a durable metallic design that is just 8.9mm thick and weighs just 585g. The included keyboard dock that is a trademark of the ASUS Transformer series also comes with a built-in battery, giving the Transformer Pad TF701 a near-unbeatable 17 hour battery life when docked.
The new Asus Transformer Pad TF701 certainly isn’t a slouch when it comes to specs. It features a 10.1 inch WQXGA IPS display (2560 x 1600 resolution) that’s capable of producing extraordinarily sharp images and great color reproduction even at wide angles. It’s powered by a 1.9GHz quad core Nvidia Tegra 4 processor and 2GB RAM, making it one of the more capable Android tablets out there. It also features a 5mp camera on the back and 1.2mp camera on the front to cover all your basic imaging needs.
Looking for a capable productivity device and want to avoid the bulk of traditional notebooks? The Asus Transformer Pad TF701 is a great option and is already available for Php27,995.
