Despite being HTC’s flagship Android handset earlier in the yeary, the HTC One X took its sweet time waiting for its update to Jelly Bean 4.1. Well, it looks like HTC One X owners need not wait any longer as it appears that the update is already rolling out! Users from Asia, Europe and South America are reporting being prompted to upgrade, that is, if you own a CID_038 or CID_044 device. If you don’t know whether your HTC One X belongs to the initial batch that will be getting the update, you can go to Google Play to download the CID app. If you haven’t been prompted to download the update yet, you can also download it directly from HTC’s servers. The update is being reported to be a 2-part update. The first update will be a small 1.25-1.6Mb file followed by a large 357-364Mb file – likely to be the Jelly Bean 4.1 update itself.
